CHRIS BLUTHARDT

Chris was born in Maryland in 1998 and lived there until the summer of 2003. The family then moved to Guam where they lived until the summer of 2007. At last they landed on the island of Oahu. Shortly after arriving on Oahu his parents purchased him a used surfboard and instantly he was hooked!!! Chris works relentlessly to be where he’s at today, as a competitor in HSA (Hawaii Surfing Association) as well as NSSA. Not stopping with the main contests, he competes in many other contests through out the island. Like any true waterman, he competes in Shortboard but also Longboard and SUP.

Recent accolades:
5th place finish in Hawaii State Championships 2010 11 and under shortboard
4th place finish in Hawaii State Championships 2010 14 and under longboard
1st place 2 years in a row HIC All Military Surf Classic 2010 and 2009 boys shortboard
1st place Shorebreak Classic 2010
2nd place Banyan's NSSA

Chris’ goals are to qualify and compete in the nationals for NSSA. His ultimate goal is to qualify for the WCT and win the Triple Crown of Surfing!!!

Christopher is the youngest of 4 children. With one brother and 2 sisters. He is a 6th grader at Kapolei Middle School.
